CLOWNE ENTERPRISE'S BUSINESS COACHING
The Clowne Enterprise Business Support project supports a dedicated, part-time business coach who provides one-to-one business coaching to prospective and existing micro-businesses in the North Derbyshire area.
The Coach provides direct assistance to rural and market-town businesses, assisting them to navigate the difficult pre-start period and growth phases. Providing help such as marketing and promotion support, coaching in business skills, guidance in expansion or diversification, and personal assistance in such activities as negotiating leases, discussing loans with banks, presenting to customers, dealing with local authority rating or planning departments etc.
The service is available to new and existing businesses. Specific promotion for the service is targeted at producers of food and drink products and tourism related businesses but is available to any business within the target area.

On July 14th Paul Davis, Clowne's business coach, received the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion 2011 from the Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
