How to Apply

Funding circumstances have changed and we are accepting new Expressions of Interest (EOI) until 30th November 2018

Please contact the LEADER team before completing an Expression of Interest form. The team will check your eligibility and discuss your project idea with you.

The LEADER team is here to offer you support and advice throughout ALL stages of the application process.

 Application Process:

  • The Expression of Interest (EOI) Form is the first stage of the application process which gives the LEADER team an overview of your project idea.
  • You can access the EOI Form, Guidance and the Applicant Handbook by downloading the attachments below.
  • Once the LEADER Team has received your Expression of Interest they have 10 working days to assess the project and contact you with a decision.
  • If the EOI is approved, the Programme Officer will contact you and provide the Full Application Form.
  • You will be given a deadline of three calendar months to return the completed Full Application.
  • Once the LEADER Team receive the completed Full Application they have 40 working days to assess the project.
  • The application is assessed by an independent appraiser, the RPA and sent to BNED Local Action Group (LAG) to approve.
  • When approved, a Grant Funding Agreement is drawn up. Once this is signed by the accountable body and the applicant, work can commence.
