The Bolsover North East Derbyshire LEADER Local Action Group (LAG) has been successful is securing additional funding through the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).

 

The overall budget for the programme (2007-2013) is now £2,194,000.

We have, as at May 2012, contracted with projects to the value of £2,041,714 which means the amount of funding that is now available for new projects is £152,286.

 

 

The LAG has determined that the priorities that projects will be expected to deliver will be the creation of new jobs and the provision of workplace skills development.

 

In a letter from Andrew Slade, the outgoing Head of the National RDPE Delivery Team, one of the principles is that the allocation of the additional funding should be "….to the most appropriate axes / measures dependent on your LDS". The LDS, or Local Development Strategy, is the document which sets down the outputs the LEADER programme is contracted to deliver. The full document can be downloaded below.
